The staff of the Department of Teaching Methods and Techniques conduct research in the following areas:

• Didactics of technology and computer science

• The use of modern technologies and artificial intelligence in education

• Philosophy of culture and technology

• Students’ activity in the field of programming

• Developing students’ technical interests

• The usefulness of information technologies in the educational process

The Department employs staff with extensive teaching experience who work with strong commitment with academic youth, cooperate with school students and teachers, and seek ways to increase the effectiveness of teaching and educational activities as well as the usefulness of information technology in education.

Selected projects implemented with the participation of the Department’s staff:

• Via Carpatia Polytechnic Network named after President Lech Kaczyński

• “Philosophy of the Silver Age” project under the National Programme for the Development of the Humanities

• DigSTEM project

• Institutional development of the Łęczna County Development Foundation as a guarantor of civil society in Łęczna County

• Implementation of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities – a shared responsibility
