On April 24, 2023, in the Senate Room of Lublin University of Technology, there was a solemn signing of cooperation agreement between Lublin University of Technology, represented by Prof. Paweł Droździel, vice-rector for student affairs, and the Hugo Kołłątaj High School in Lublin, represented by its director Marzena Kamińska, MA.

The main objective of the agreement is to popularize science among young people, build links between education at the school and academic level, and support initiatives encouraging young people to study science and technology.

As part of the agreement, students of the 6th High School will participate in didactic classes at the University and cooperate with science clubs operating at Lublin University of Technology. Academic teachers will be able to conduct classes at the School and invite the most talented students to scientific cooperation.

Students will have the opportunity to participate in selected university-wide events, scientific conferences and seminars. The Hugo Kołłątaj High School in Lublin will also promote the educational offer of Lublin University of Technology among its students and encourage them to participate in such initiatives as Open Days, Lublin Science Festival, and Lessons with LUT.
